Not sure what to do..

I have been recently diagnosed with Epilepsy (f18). I've had tonic-clonic/grand-mal seizures that began about 8 months ago. My most recent seizure resulted in stitches on my head because I hit it on a door hinge when I went down. I also tend to stop breathing for 3-4 minutes. My neurologist and I suspect that my seizures are triggered by lack of sleep and anxiety, I need 15-18 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period otherwise shit goes downhill. Anxiety also plays a roll in it. Anyways I have no idea what to do with my future and career wise. I'm no longer able to complete my final year of Highschool because of these reoccurring events, I'll never be able to go to university, and I will probably not get a full time job due to the need of sleep and attempt on keeping low stress levels. I've started medication and am hoping that it will help solve some of my problems but I've been told to prepare myself if I don't respond to the medication since there is a chance of that happening. Is anyone else going/gone through something similar? I just don't know what to do :/
