I am untethered and my rage knows no bounds.
I bought the Dyson Airwrap Multi Styler Complete set in fuchsia from Ulta in 2023. I am not a daily blow dryer or styler, so it didn’t get much use, maybe 20-30 uses before it failed. In mid 2024 I went to use it and the lock that secures the attachments no longer held in place, leaving the Airwrap unusable. Since my product was properly registered and still in warranty, I contacted customer service, went through the troubleshooting, they sent me a shipping label, determined it wasn’t fixable, and they sent me a refurbished replacement of the same set and color.
Again, I don’t style my hair often, I’m an air dry and sloppy bun kind of girl. This device has maybe been used 10 times. A couple weeks ago I went to use the refurbished Airwrap to get ready for a Christmas party and it abruptly turned off after only a couple minutes with the light blinking red. I checked and cleaned the filter - all spotless since it had barely been used. I contacted customer support - all seemed fine and they said I would have a shipping label emailed within 24 hours. A label never came. I contacted them again a few days later, they promised another label. That label never came. I then left to travel over the holidays and got back home yesterday, and today sat down to contact them again.
