An end of an era.
Hi guys. Many of you now might not know me, but originally when the subreddit was really small about seven years ago, I took over management and built a small little community along with the help of a few community members. The subreddit grew really rapidly. We started keeping track of the best players and the streamers and YouTube videos, I even started my own YouTube channel to help people get out of the lower elos, and I did that only out of request from the community.
It used to be a very small community and I was really close to the majority and we started the discord server and everything.
Now it's been about four years since I quit the game, because I am getting older, as we all are, I was only 23 almost 24 when I started managing the Reddit. And now I am 31. It has played a huge part in my life and I hope that you guys love what was built here.
That being said, I feel like I have not contributed whatsoever over the last few years, so I am planning on giving up my ownership and removing myself as a moderator. I don't see myself coming back to the game anytime soon and I less so see myself managing a community now with how busy life is and everything. I was planning on just leaving quietly, but I feel like maybe some of the members who are still here would have liked the goodbye posts. So this is me moving on and I wish you guys the absolute best.
Thank you for everything.
