Doctor want to induce me, i am scared

So, I am 38 weeks pregnant. Last week, after tidying all day, I wasn't feeling well, so I took my blood pressure and it was 150/99. I got scared and went to the ER. They immediately hospitalized me and put me on blood pressure medication. I was in the hospital for 5 days, where they did every lab they could. Everything came back normal, with no protein in my urine. My blood pressure has since been in the normal range, usually around 110/70 to 130/80.

My doctor has recommended inducing labor at 39 weeks for our safety. I am really scared because my last birth was so magical, unmedicated, and natural. I really don't want to be induced, but he insist.
