Buying a place at the end of year

Keen to get everyone’s thoughts on buying a place around this time. Specifically those who’ve done it and if you ended up happy with your place or wish you would have waited until the new year with more stock.

Been looking for 3 months now. Don’t want to go into the new year and do the battle all over again. Have found a place that ticks most of the boxes while being a bit overpriced.

Tossing up whether to go for it or if I should wait until more stock comes on the market. Anyone have strong opinions either way?
