Should I go with my mom's decision to permanently straighten her hair?

My mom (39y.o) has wavy hair which she doesn't know how to take care of, so it looks unkempt and frizzy all the time. She wants to permanently straighten it now and is calling me to go with her to the saloon. Is this a good decision? should I let her do it? Because her natural wavy hair would look so good if it was maintained properly. I also feel like, who am I to tell her what to do with her hair she's a grown woman, but idk i feel complicated about this decision. Should I go along with her decision or try to convince her out of it?
