What is the difference between Bi and Pan?

I know Pan is attraction to all genders and I thought Bi was attraction to 2 genders but I see a lot of people say "2 or more" for Bi. By that definition wouldn't it be polysexual, or do people just use Bi because it rolls of the tongue better and it wouldn't get confused with Pan?
