Well, I can't say I'm surprised, but I can certainly say that I'm hugely dissapointed 😞 & frustrated 😀

Granted, we all know how difficult it is to get tranafers done in January, so I can understand & to some degree! I, will also sympathise in advance, as to the degree of backlash & scrutiny, Arteta & KSE are gonna come under😀😑 🀬 jheeez! Well, maybe not so much KSE πŸ€£πŸ˜‰

However, I do believe that, not bringing in at least 'one player' to cover for the' (2) attacking players we have out, due to injury, is a massive risk to the rest of Arsenal's campaign! πŸ€”

If we somehow miraculously end up as either, title winners come May 25th, or Champions League winners come the May 31st, or even Carabao Cup winners, March 16th, or even make it as finalists, in any of the 2 aforementioned cup comps, without having strengthened, or brought in 'cover' for our injured forward line absentees, this window. It will be something legendary, 'all things considered'!

I do believe (at the least) we'll finish (top 4) but again, that'll be another year of banter, of being branded ('The nearly men' & another year of pressure for Arteta, upon which the banter & criticism for him will be absolutely relentless... Especially if, as it stands, 'Liverpool' continue in the vain of form their in, & 'Arne Slot' goes onto join a very illustrious group of foreign managers to win the English Premier league in his debut season.

Not signing anyone (at all) this window, has to mean Arsenal 'MUST' be looking to go all out in the summer (I'd certainly like to think so)πŸ€” And in doing so, they (MUST), get their business done early, so as to integrate the new recruits well preseason!

And, if Arsenal fail to win something again next season (that is, if we fail to win something this season) then I'll be changing my tune & voice a bit more aggressively to sing along with the Arteta OUT brigade, me thinks πŸ€”

But, let me just say this now... 'I'm not there yet', as I do very much applaud what Arteta has done @ Arsenal 'thus far', but if this pattern of language from us persists... That... Oh, well 'we almost did it, we nearly won the title, we came so close to winning the title, but not quite, and so on... 😀😑

Personally, I think continuing for another 2/3 years, with a manager/coach that can't take a club like Arsenal, with the money that's been spent & the players we have; over the line at 6 or 7 attempts, as it would be by then, should definitely be replaced!!

For his sake, he still has time, at least from my POV & leniency for him as it pertains to this topic, and even this campaign is still not yet over...

And, as I've said many times before, I'm prepared to give Arteta a couple more years to prove his metal! And, as such, I shall reserve some judgement for the end of this campaign, but will go easy on him somewhat πŸ˜‚ And, most certainly come the end of the 2025/26, or maybe πŸ€” 2026/27 campaign, if we've not managed at least one major trophy or title... And, I'm not talking domestic 'FA Cup/Carabao Cup' homours, I'm talking major's!My scrutiny at that time will a lot different to what it is today, that's for sure!!

And so, for now, I remain Arteta in... But the clock is ticking... Tick tock, tick tock... And my poor heart is still yearning, and in my mind I'm still a dreaming, for that illusive 'Champions League' trophy & for that ling overdue 'Premier League' title...
