Is it "too late" to learn to code?

So I'm a 25 yr old non-technical founder who has decided to try and become technical. I just started to learn how to code a few months ago.

Almost every time I bring this up with friends, and even some other programmers, they are like "You're probably a little too late at this point."

Do you genuinely think this is true?

Do you think it's still worth my time to learn to code or is AI just going to get so good soon that any skills I develop will just be irrelevant a year from now?
