Looking for a manhwa/manhua

I can't remember if it was Korean or Chinese but I remember it was in a historical setting and the main character (uke) has some kind of high position (I think he's the emperor) and they're in love with their subordinate (they're a really strong guard)

I know this is a very vague description and there could be some titles that could match the description but one particular thing that stood out to me was that the main character in this story has a very similar vibe to the main character in How To Be The Chosen One.
