Wifi won't connect and my Kinect needs update

So I was visiting my grandma's house and she still had my Xbox 360 s . Me my sister and cousins want to play just dance 4 but the wifi won't connect. Does anybody have some tips I can try because I really want to play and I don't know what to do next.
