What’s your commute to daycare?

My baby is currently 8m and home with nanny and husband who WFH when I’m in the office.

My plan is to put him in daycare from maybe 12/15 months depending on when I think he is ready. There is an amazing daycare at work, but I commute 30 min one way on a good day/ 1 hour+ one way on a bad day in a city fairly heavily congested with traffic.

Commute is either by cab or I will try to organise a car and driver if possible (I don’t drive and though the car/driver option will be expensive I can swing it). Public transport is not a good option in my country.

Curious to know what your commute to daycare is like, and various options you utilise (timings/mode of transportation etc)?

edit: as responses are coming in, would also add that we have tons of great daycares near our house too so the one at work isn’t the only option (it’s just probably the best one)
