How much will All 15 WOT leatherbound novels cost?(math)
Brandon Sanderson just announced that his company Dragonsteel is going to publish WoT leatherbounds at a speed of 1 a year.

And I asked myself a question, how much will all of the cost in total?
So I decided to do the math-
there are 2 price points for the Dragonsteel leatherbounds:
1.125$ for most books
2.250$ for books that are too long and have to be split into 2 books
The longest book not to be split is "The Well of Ascension" with 244,371 words, and the shortest book to be split into 2 is "The Way of Kings" with a wordcount of 384,265
Based on promotional material TEotW is going to be one book with a wordcount of 310,426 so I will assume that all books shorter will be one book as well- they are books 1,2,3,7,8,9,10,0(NS) and 12. That means 9 books times 125$ for a total of 1125$
Then there are books that are between TEotW and "The Way of Kings" in length (TFoH,KoD,ToM and AMoL) 4 books times either 125$ or 250$ for a total between 500$ and 1000$
And 2 books longer than "The Way of Kings" (TSR and LoC) for 2 books times 250$=500$
So the final* total for all 15 books is between 1625$ and 2125$ .
*assuming the price will not rise in 15 years of inflation
