How F'd am I?

My kids have been stuffing sweets wrappers behind our TV stand in the basement. Upon pulling it out to clean I found piles of sawdust from the plywood backed TV stand. Pictures are of the live bug I found and also the dead bugs/ exoskeletons. Note that the bugs didn't create the hole itself, I made a hole to run cables, and it was pretty jagged in the first place. The insects just tore it up even more.
