What is the best pen for everyday writing?

I’m on the hunt for a pen that writes smoothly and effortlessly. I tend to do a lot of note-taking and journaling, and I’m tired of pens that skip or smudge. Looking for something comfortable to hold, with a fine tip for clean lines, and preferably under. I know there is no "best" so just let me know what you like and think are good brands and why. Any recommendations?

Some brands I’ve tried are: Pilot G2, Uni-ball Jetstream, and Paper Mate InkJoy. While they’re decent, I’m still looking for something that gives me a more consistent, smooth writing experience, or just something with a wow factor. Thanks!
