Waiting for engagement without being so annoying!!!

Hello Friends!!! PLEASE HELP!!! One of these hasn't been posted in a LONG time. I am just looking for advice on handling the wait for proposal after ring shopping??

My boyfriend and I went ring shopping together and it was such an amazing experience! He bought the ring that day, but it is a custom made ring so they quoted us up to 8 weeks for it to come in. I am literally BURSTING with excitement (It has literally only been 10 days since purchase.. not that I'm counting). I just am trying so hard to not pry or prod my boyfriend, or literally kiss him to death with cuteness aggression LOL (weird.. idk?)! I have never really been the impatient/emotional type but I find myself thinking about it teary eyed/ talking about it ALOT!!

I am sure my coworkers/friends are sick of hearing about it, and I really don't want to take the fun out of it for my boyfriend, because he is so so excited and the surprise aspect (when/where/how/ final ring) of it is really important to him. Thank you in advance!!
