LGBT safety in Warsaw

Hi Warsaw community,

I am a female, travelling with my girlfriend this coming November, and I would like to ask how safe LGBT individuals are in public in Warsaw?

In our home country (Denmark) we are very open about our sexuality when out in public, e.g., we hold hands and kiss and act like a couple without a care in the world and without having to worry about harrassment or hate crimes.

My knowledge about LGBT rights and public opinion in Poland, and Warsaw specifically, is very limited so it would be helpful with some insights as to whether or not it is safe for us to ask like a couple when walking around in Warsaw, sitting in restaurants.
