Using Marmite to make vegan recipes taste richer/'meatier' - can you get it in the US or other countries?
I realised that I often use Marmite (yeast extract) in vegan recipes to give it a richer/'meatier' flavour (e.g. gravy, nut roast). I genuinely think it makes SUCH a difference to non-meat recipes flavour wise.
So I was wondering if people can easily get this outside of the UK (e.g. in the US)? (I know Marmite is a British thing).
If not, what do you use instead to give vegan dishes that richer/'meatier' flavour? (like gravy)
