You are not in a relationship if you haven't seen your GF/BF in real life.

Maybe I'm getting old but would you really call it a relationship (gf/bf) if someone haven't meet the person in real life?

The other day I read a thread about some guy that said that he and his girlfriend had watched a movie together. A bit further down he mention that they haven't meet each other.

I would agree with calling it a friendship. But it's not a relationship were someone/something is a girlfriend or boyfriend.
