People overreact to bees/wasps

I understand that some people are creeped out by bugs in general, but I can’t remember a time where someone was just unbothered by a bee. I have never seen or heard of a bee stinging someone without being provoked first. I swear people act like every bee is just out to sting. If you leave a bee alone, it will leave you alone.
