I am done with Ultimate Guitar
I am not here to try to dunk on the site.
This year would have been my 5th as a Pro Subscriber. I never felt like it was the greatest resource but it was a fun tool for playing around and learning parts I didn't feel like learning by ear.
However I just saw my annual renewal went from $24.99/yr to $99/yr, that is so beyond weak. It honestly also seems really shady bc a lot of posts here are people who got auto-renewed without knowing how much it had gone up and can't get any help from CS.
Anyway, I'd like to thank contributors and members of the team who made the site fun while it lasted. Y'all are great. This price increase is just wild for many different reasons. On the upside maybe it's a good reason to stop using tabs as a crutch and dedicate more time to my ear.
Best of luck to the users who got autocharged, best to reach out to your bank bc I don't see UG helping, my opinion is that they knew this would happen.
