Switch from SWV to Spouse

Well after all the trouble last year getting an SWV, I actually got let go from my employer. (Not worth venting about, just bad management) Luckily I have marriage ideas with my partner to stay in the UK.

Is it easier to switch visas now, or does it matter? My employment ends next month and I’ll get the 60 day notice to leave the country, and obviously I’m looking for another job as well, but gotta stay here somehow and if I have to expedite the wedding then so be it.
