Bright Futures and Failing Classes

So I've heard that Bright Futures doesn't count credits for any classes that you end up failing (whether they're in critical tracking or not, depending on who I've asked)

I (most likely) failed two critical tracking courses this semester that were both 4 credits. Does this mean I have to take at least 20 credits my next semester in order to meet Bright Futures eligibility?

I'd like this cleared up because, as you can imagine, I'm not exactly thrilled at the prospect of taking 20 credits worth of courses in only my second full time semester, and the idea of having to boost my GPA to a 3.00 (currently a 2.84) while maintaining a ludicrous workload like that.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
