Best factions to play in current state of the game?

Hey all,

I've been playing the Total War games since Shogun, and I'm a huge Warhammer fan that poured hundreds of hours into the previous two games, but haven't played much of Warhammer III. Recently I was fortunate enough to be able to upgrade my graphics card and I can now play the most recent title with the graphics and resolution cranked while getting smooth frames. With the new content drop I'm dying to get back into it, but I'm finding myself spoiled by choice and can't decide which faction or legendary lord to commit to.

For some background, the last major DLC I messed around with was the Chaos Dwarfs release. I've played the following campaigns to completion in the past, but would be open to playing them again if they've had significant changes:

Empire: Franz

Dwarfs: Thorgrim & Grombrindal

Vampire Counts: Mannfred

Beastmen: Khazrak

Wood Elves: Orion

Norsca: Wulfrik

High Elves: Tyrion & Alarielle

Dark Elves: Maliketh

Tomb Kings: Settra

Vampire Coast: Luthor Harken

Kislev: Tzarina Katerin

Chaos Dwarfs: Drazhoath

I appreciate everyone's input and advice. I'm really excited to try out a lot of the factions I only dabbled in or haven't picked up at all, due to previous hardware limitations.
