Does anyone know where this photo came from?

I'm pretty most of us has seen this photo popping up in one or two books about tornados, from time to time. This photo always stuck out with me, because of how ominous it is. It also kind of reminds of the tornado used on the poster for the original Twister movie.

Do any of you know where exactly this photo was taken from?
