CrossClimate vs All season & Winter in Seattle?
Hi all,
I recently bought a CPO hybrid SUV that is equipped with Bridgestone Turanza EL450. This car is meant to be driven around in the city with rare long trips to Vancouver / Portland.
For all my vehicles, I normally run dedicated summer and winter tires to cover all year driving but I want to switch things around a bit since this vehicle isnt high performance. It looks like I have two options:
- Purchase another set of rims and winter tires and use them alongside with Turanzas.
- Replace Turanzas with CrossClimate 2.
The Turanza currently has plenty of life left still but I have been told it's not regarded as a good tire, especially during winter. I would feel guilty about chucking them out and replace it with CrossClimate 2 however.
What would you do if you were in my shoes?
