Aedion Rant

I am currently about halfway through with EoS and I feel like Aedion has become such a hollow character. Like in HoF when we first met Aedion he was a firey arrogant asshole, but like in a good way. He was vibrant and loud and outgoing. He had a way of making everyone in the room stop and look to him, similar to aelin and Rowan both. Maybe there’s just too many big personalities now and it’s made him dull out but ever since he finally saw Aelin again, once Rowan was introduced, it seems like his character is just there now. Like he’s just because, and he doesn’t have much substance anymore other that brooding and always freaking out over Aelin like he’s her dad. Which I get, but what happened to the lively, social guy we first met?
