About the ending

I would clarify that I love this game and I am not hating it or anything, I am just a little disappointed by the ending you can’t talk to anyone of your companions, not even that but you can’t even find them, almost as if they died in the battle and you wouldn’t even know. I justa wanted to post this because I stills have the dlc to complete but idk I felt kind empty so I haven’t continued with the dlc idk if anyone has feel like that
