Is there beef between the Sopranos cast and Joe Pantoliano?

I realized that there is very little connection between Joe Pantoliano and anyone from the cast outside of the show. Talking Sopranos had many guests come onto their show but Joe was never on, in interviews members of the cast seem to have a personal connection with someone else from the cast, but none of them seem to really say much about Joe.

I also heard in an interview that the Sopranos would do parties for an actor that was going to be killed on the show as a farewell, and Joe joked and said that they stopped when it was his turn.

I am curious, is there some sort of beef here?
