This game got me fucked up (MAJOR ENDING SPOILERS!)

Man, that ending. I've never felt so sad and empty after beating a game before. All of the shit Ellie goes through, and now she has nothing. She let revenge consume her, and she lost so much because of it. No Dina, no Jesse, a potentially damaged relationship with Tommy, and now she's missing 2 fingers. Her trying to play guitar once she gets back was just so depressing to see. Then she leaves her guitar behind I guess as a way of showing that she's moving on from Joel's death, and not letting it consume her anymore. If this is the end of TLOU, then it ended on a pretty depressing note, which makes sense with the overarching themes of the game. I'm really gonna miss this game's universe if this is it. Also, having to fight Ellie in a boss battle was absolutely heartbreaking. I legit didn't even wanna play anymore because of how it made me feel. What a fantastic game.
