What's all the fuss about american carnage?

I've tried the mod, It's flashy and with a lot of colors and stuff, but I don't get it, ignoring the asthetics, It's just a regular mod, if way to cynical to the poit where It's clear It's just doing It for the hell of it. So, what's all the fuss? One in every 3 posts is about this mod, speking hyperbolicaly.
