Can't pinpoint the problem with my monitor getting black screen

I have this AOC monitor that I've had a few years now, recent months I've gotten random black screens that last a few seconds and then go back to normal, this will happen a few times, usually when I first start up my PC and then it will be fine. I genuinely can't figure out why this happens.

So the information I gathered is this: The issue is present with both displayport and HDMI, with all the ports on the PC, the issue does not exist on my second screen. The issue also doesn't exist if I plug my laptop into the monitor. I've tried multiple cables of both types.

So with all that said, I really am confused as to where the problem is. It's not the cable clearly, it's not the ports, and since it worked perfectly fine using my laptop, it also feels like the problem isn't with the monitor either. So what now? Is it some sort of setting on my PC? Really curious if anyone have any ideas here, perhaps I need to buy a new monitor, but I'm not sure if that will solve my problem.
