Fading after a month...?

Hi!!! This was my first tattoo, so pardon me if I do not know the answers or sound dumb 🙂. Pain was minimal, some of it felt like ecstasy 😅🫣. But I noticed once the skin stopped falling away that it was faded and cracked looking?? In the line work. I was going to ask for a touch up but I didn't know if this was normal or not. I plan on adding to it under my breasts and down a bit further towards my belly button but if this guy isn't that good then I don't know if I'll go back to him. But does it look normal?? Pictures of during, a day or two after and now! I got it December 15th.
