Saniderm ruining new tattoo

Hi, just got a leg tattoo that I adore and it is absolutely packed with color. It was one 4 hour session and afterwards my care instructions were to let it bleed then cover with saniderm after a good cleaning. It has now been 3 days since and I just took off the saniderm because my tattoo seemed dark. But after a cleaning I realize, it is dark and the black outline bled and stained the lighter colored parts. Now the colors don’t pop like they did before :/. Will a touch up save this?
