Final fight remake bug?

Hello! I am on the final cyber space fight with Shodan. I have tried it a couple times now but I fear it may be bugged or I've done something wrong.

Doing some research my "cyber rifle" and whole fight doesn't look the same as in videos, Shodan is never "covered in ICE", and worst of all I get 2 lives then I get a game over cortex reaver cut scene and have to load an old save.

None of the pads are taking me to the different colored islands and once I kill all the cyber enemies on the first island Shodan starts doing this "hammer of dawn" attack. I shoot the ICE on the two node things and a blue hexagon circle thing comes up but nothing seems to happen.

At a lose and the end of my rope on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
