Light, fun, surreal fiction to read at the beach
I am looking for books that are fun, poignant, and/or whimsical, but absolutely not dark or depressing.
Fantasy and sci-fi tend to be my jam; Pynchon's Inherent Vice and anything by Murakami I tend to enjoy. Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi was really sweet and enjoyable.
Thanks all!
