Any adult graphic novel that feel like middle grade graphic novel?

Whenever I ask for illustrated books for adults, the answer I get is “just read graphic novels”. However, I can’t read those books because they are just as complex, if not more complex than regular adult and YA literature due to the advanced art, complex formatting, and wordy dialogue that just throws me off as much as regular prose. However, I do like children’s graphic novels like Tintin and The Babysitters Club because they are far easier to read than your typical adult graphic novel. So are there any adult graphic novels that have a similar feel to middle grade graphic novels, in terms of their art style, formatting, and ease of reading? I know they do exist. Scott Pilgrim is a pretty good example, even being popular among middle grade literature fans due to this.
