Caves

How am I actually supposed to explore the caves without suffocating? I just started to play yesterday and I need to know, how is it possible to explore the caves in only a minute before you have to resurface? I’m still learning the map.

I’ve made a standard O2 tank but it’s not really enough. Do you just have to go really fucking fast and hope for the best?
