Questions about Next Pro vs/+ Distrokid. Advice Please!

Does anyone here have experience with either or both of these services, and if so which one do you recommend, or do I need both?

Currently I just have a regular SoundCloud account that I am uploading music to. I only have 3 songs up, but want to get one or both of these services before I release anymore music, to be able to expand my reach and release across multiple platforms.

Is it necessary to have Next Pro to get more ears on my music and become verified on SoundCloud? Or if I just get Distrokid will that handle those things on SoundCloud?
