Reality check

This team is 4-2 and a fringe top 25 team. They have a fantastic defense and poor offense, meaning they are good but not great as a result. Those two losses at this point are to the numbers 1 & 8 teams in the country by AP ranking.

This isn’t an elite OU team overall, there have been a lot better teams in recent memory, and there have been a lot worse teams historically.

If we wind up 5-7 or 6-6, sure, let’s talk worst OU teams of all time. But today was the toughest game we likely play all the rest of the season. Ole Miss, Mizzou, Alabama, LSU are all tough but vulnerable & beatable.

I promise you, while changes need to be made, the sky is not falling.
