Is there a dead-simple GUI security camera software for 1 camera with motion detection? Something like the old iSpy? (windows or linux)

I'm asking because the go-to answer for this kind of question online seems to be a complicated multi-cam remote software like "motion, zoneminder or shinobi". That is not what I want. I want a simple, GUI single camera setup with a live view to adjust camera and ability to set a motion detection threshhold for recording. I need it to just have 1 camera to watch 1 room.

I understand that the tendency of security software guys is to find it more useful to make a remote-accessible web software, but that just makes things complicated for a novice like me. I used to use a software called iSpy that did exactly what I wanted, but those guys decided to make their software a web thing called AgentDVR and it's unusable now.

I'm sorry but "bro just start up this daemon with a command line and connect to localhost:6969 with a browser and the GUI is a javascript with every setting adjustable in weird subpanels" is not very simple for me.
