not a social worker but a caseworker contracted by dfps to basically be cps (texas). i started in july and became case assignable at the end of october. i have a status hearing for the case i got straight out of training tomorrow at 8am. i’ve only testified once before and that was for a permanency hearing last week. needless to say - im nervous. this particular case we are trying to get aggravated circumstances on dad. has anyone ever testified under similar circumstances? any tips for me? i’m kinda freaking out ngl!
