Lore-wise safest player home?

Okay so, I'm carrying 3 elder scrolls, the masks of all the dragon priests, a bunch of aedric and daedric objects as well as powerful dwemer artifacts... I can't really just leave them hanging around in Breezehome.

I can't trust the College of Winterhold since some madman like Ancano was once capable of taking over the whole place, plus its full of dangerously curious people and got forgotten daedric stuff in its basement.

Jorrvaskr is just an upside down boat.

Maybe Fort Dawnguard? I'm ignorant of the actual capacity of that castle, only that it is horribly undermanned for its size. And I really don't think the Hall of the Vigilant (after being rebuilt) is any safer, vampires already destroyed it once before.

Maybe Sky Haven Temple? It's far away and isolated but still it isn't magically warded or anything, its just an old akaviri temple, but i guess the Blades should be good guards against any possible threat.

So that's the thing, I'm looking for a magically sealed, possibly hard to reach physically safe room where i can store all these things capable of breaking destroying all life on Nirn.

I summon thee, Reddit collective hive brain! Mods count. If possible, not dwemer, please.

Another update on the rankings! I'll not list anything that can be burned, crushed, smashed, waltzed into or looks possible to picklock/pocket (i'm looking at you homes-in-an-item). And of course if we truly want to be safe, then yeah there're plenty of dwemer stuff to go around, no one is going to travel to the aetherius or get into a dwemer tesseract cube of rubik, i do like Clockwork though, looks fancy and original. But that's not the point, stop dwemer dependency.

So far the best 5(4) mods are:

  • Caranthir Tower: Dwemer Lite-themed mage tower on a mountain, can be made invisible, very spacious, has a dragon, can have disciples to protect it. Will change it if a better one is found, say NO to dwemer, kids.
  • Valtara Tower: Elf-themed mage tower on a mountain, autosorting display mechanics, spacious, very fancy and clean, can have summons to protect it.
  • The Enigmatic Tower: Mage themed Mage tower, has everything, way too much but at least it isnt dwemer, very original teleport through paints, tower decor reacts to the player and storage, includes a beautiful pocket dimension with a forest and a lake where your family can be safe forever outside of Nirn.
  • The Dovah Den: Tight cave, a bit claustrophobic, not suitable for tall people, has everything one would need for a safe vault, aka no spouse and childrens running around daedric artifacts. Room for 2 followers. Has a short Blades historical backstory.
  • Bromjunaar Treasury: Still not a home but it works as a vault, safety can be argued as it is just a sealed sanctuary in another point in time... not the best times. Not exactly a long term solution since the place still has to be destroyed and it will be, but it works as a temporary one.

The best 5 vanilla:

  • Volkihar Castle (Have to side with vampires)
  • Sky Haven Temple
  • Probably the Archmage quarters, if I'm the Archmage and I'm there to make sure no one messes up the whole college then it should be safe, i guess.
  • Proudspire Manor
  • Bromjunaar Sanctuary (Not exactly a home though but it should be pretty damn secure.)

For completionists (This is just for those homes with a specific display for each and every single item in the game in a museum-like manner, aka collections, so they'll always be incomplete in specific rp playthroughs.)

Please keep coming up with ideas, a top 5 would be great. Just having a place for the elder scrolls and the masks is fine since not everyone will always get all the uniques on every playthrough.
