best way to test used steering wheel?

i am about to buy a steering wheel, used one specifically, probably will be a G29 as i feel like it is the best option for my budget.

now when i go and meet with the seller to test the wheel. how should i go about doing it? ive bought used controller and always use online controller tester, not sure about wheel as i am fairly new.
