Skin.

She loved her skin, so soft and clean. She would go to great lengths to protect it from the sun, the rain, and anything that might cause it harm. One night, she stared -as she usually did- at her skin in the mirror thinking of the inevitable march of age. Presently, she found herself upset, imagining her beautiful skin, wrinkled and worn. The next day, she extinguished the candles on her cake with but one wish- “i wish my skin would stay like this forever!”

2 years later, she started to feel the tightness.

She had never once considered that the rest of her would continue to grow.
