Today’s my wedding anniversary and birthday. Woke up to getting laid off. Thought I’d be distraught but I’m relieved.

I’ll be okay. It always works itself out!

Edit: Thanks everyone for the outpouring support! One thing I can say for sure is that being in sales has forced all of us to have thick skin, so being laid off is just another obstacle towards success.

Most days suck but it’s those handful of days in the year that remind me (and I’m sure many of us) why we’ve chosen this career.

I’ll let you all know when I’ve landed a new gig!
