Transfer student question about math classes at Rutgers

I’m transferring from my school (Touro) to Rutgers with a couple of credits under my belt. I plan on going into biomedical engineering but I still need some pre requisites. I already took calc 1 at Touro but I don’t feel like I was really taught it well and don’t fully understand some concepts. People that I talked to says that Calc 2 at Rutgers is somewhat hard. My question is Should I retake Calc 1 or should I just YOLO into calc 2?
