XCOM style ttrpg

Really random thought, but I remember looking years ago and not really finding anything that worked for me- can anyone recommend a game that plays with some XCOM style base/squad building and research?

I'm sure it could be hacked into many games, but I'm wondering if there is anything existing that mimics the satisfying level of crunch you get from the older games in the franchise
