Roommate sleeping on couch
Recently had a new roommate move in to the house I am living at. This is his first time living on his own. He doesn’t have a bed and would sleep on the ground for the first couple months he was living here. He recently decided to make our living room couch his bed. He sleeps there every night and tends to go to bed early when the rest of us tend to stay up later. He also takes multiple naps throughout the day there as well. We have a tv in the living room that gets used constantly for sports, video games and movies/tv and we regularly have people over as well. I feel bad anytime I want to use the living room when he’s sleeping because I don’t want to wake him up and he gets frustrated every time we do wake him up. I want to tell that he can’t be sleeping out there all the time as it makes the rest of us uncomfortable when we want to use the living room because we don’t want have to wake him up, but I feel bad because I know he doesn’t want to sleep on the ground. Am I being an asshole or is this reasonable? What would be the best way to go about talking to him about it?
