Coworkers are ass
I started working at this company about a month ago and the fact that this is my first retail job, half the coworkers makes me feel so small. Especially the key holders.
Like I’m still quite new and I’m not gonna be an expert on where the clothes may be or how everything works but being a newbie is never a good feeling to begin with. Some have been here for 2+ years and expect me to have 12 years of experience. LIKE IM TRYINGGGG.
I usually have my phone out in the fitting room counter since that’s my job every time I work, but I never use it because it's common sense to not use it in retail. I keep it there since I'm not tempted to use rather then if it's in my pocket, but my key holders went on to tell my managers that I'm constantly using it when I'm not. Yesterday, they both spoke to me as though I had done something wrong. When I told them, they said, "Just keep it in your pocket, and then they don't think I am." LIKE I NEVER WAS TO BEGIN WITH??
And also my very second day working, I was doing fitting rooms. Another coworker was in before I started my shift and they had all the clothes stacked up (that I didn’t do). One older coworker, took a bunch of them and threw them on the table and was like “you’re doing such a shit job at this, fix all of it, I’ll come back in 20 minutes to see if you can do a better job”. Before I could respond that I didn’t do that pile she walks away and doesn’t come back. I literally felt like I was gonna cry.
